Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I found a '91 300E for the wife and we need to sell our trusty 300D.

It's Ivory with palamino MB Tex. The interior is a 9 out of a possible 10. Only one small wear mark on the drivers side bolster. The rest of the interior is near perfect.

The exterior is a 7 of 10. It's been re painted, a good job, but not show quality. The body is pretty straight with a handful of dings and NO RUST whatsoever.

It has 181K on the clock and has been very well maintained its whole life. I had a compression check done when I bought it 3 years ago and the tech said it was strong, good as new.

I've done a lot during my posession. New half shafts, AC work,vacuum work,brakes and rotors,alternator,radiator,belts,hoses are some that come to mind. Everything works and the only thing I know it will need soon is a valve adjustment.

I just posted a message to the Tech Forum about looking for a good commuter, a 300d or 300sd 1983 to 1985 and this sounds pretty close.

Anything else you could tell would be good.

Also, what kind of things would you look for on a car like this?
