Hello all!!! I have a 1978 Mercedes Benz 240D that I am parting out. Every piece of the car is up for grabs at the right price! Make me an offer I can't refuse! The Engine doesn't turn over, and after several hundred dollars of trying to get it going again I have given up. Please email me with requests and offers at sksmith62375@hotmail.com ASAP. It is a Manual Transmission. The car has never been driven in the snow, so the underside is in mint condition. The sun roof had got clogged at one point and started to leak on my clutch foot. I found a Sunroof and channel in great condition, but never put it in. There is no body damage, just peeling paint. Everything is pretty much as you see in the picture I posted.

I think the starter is the same as a 300 ?? How much? any history about the starter?

I have a brand new one that I never got the 240 running with and I also have a spare. $50 for the new one and $25 for the spare.
