WTB, wire plug in at kickdown solenoid
I am repairing one of the lucky owners that lost a front flex disc on a 1985 300SD. The reason I say lucky is because of how few items got destroyed when the front flex disc let go. It did not damage the underside of the car nor, based on close inspection, the driveshaft. It did break the transmission tail shaft housing though. Anyway, my reason for posting is because I am in need of a few miscellaneous items.
Support for rear transmission mount. This is the removable frame support member that the rear tranny mount sits on. Transmission tail shaft housing for an 85 W123 or W126. Gear selector rod that goes between the arm on the tranny and the bottom of the shifter. the part I am going to need more than anything and I imagine it is the same part even for W124 cars is plug in that plugs into the back of the kickdown solenoid with about 8" of wire. I should be able to splice this together to get it to work. It tore this plug up and wrapped the wire around the output shaft of the transmission when it did the damage. This should be readily available on any parts car that still has the transmission harness in place. If anyone has any of these items please let me know via email. tia
