I did some looking into my rear end sag today... seems my rear springs are both broken in several pieces.

I can go junkyard diving but it's getting cold here. So I am trying to find some springs on here. I need them for my 83 300SD, any w126 springs that are not SLS will work...I think. I kinda think the SD has heavier springs though

I want springs off of something with less than 200k miles on it. My SD has over 430K so I am guessing springs with half that will work for a while. I may want the shocks too. I have no idea how old mine are.

For now I am driving with the broken ones.... pretty unsafe I know

Ashedd, did you ever find your w126 rear springs oem? If so, if anyone has a pair with low miles, I would be interested. My car is sagging quite a bit, and could probably use a replacement. Thanks!
