Im south of Murfreesboro and I know I will be needing a few parts for my '85 300D.

Are there any good MB yards my way ? .. or where would y'all experts recommend I go ?

There is a Pull A Part just west of Nashville that I am partial to. You can even go to their website (www.pullapart.com), select the location, and do a search on the car you are looking for. Last time I was there (2 yrs ago) they had quite a few Mercedes all in about the same location.

Im very used to that type of layout and really appreciate the lead.

They dont right now seem to have many MB's but no doubt that will change.

There is a yard in Manchester off I24 on the same road (within 100 yards) of the KOA campground. I think he's high $250 for an SD seat, $100 for window regulator & motor but he has mostly german cars.

There are also other yards in Murfreesboro, Woodbury, Manchester & McMinnville. I haven't had time to go look for MBZ parts so don't know what they have. Keep an eye out for gray seats for a 126 if you go. (I'm in Mboro.)

Edit: The one in Mboro does have some later German cars. I'll try to get by there soon. What yards are in Shebvl?

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.

Just tell me what you need ..... and I'll get it for you. With my parts cars and access to junkyards here in the Memphis area, I can get most anything.

Junkman.. I havent had a need to hit the yards here so I havent learned yet.
90%+ of what Ive needed were brake pads ect.

Update ... the yard in Manchester by the KOA has closed.

There is now another yard on 55 north of Tullahoma just north of the Pepsi plant.
