Gave up on the project & bought a 16V Euro (the interior & exterior of which I am parting out).

The trans was bad in the '84 & altough I found a 16V engine easily enough, I could find a decent trans for anything like normal money.

thats too bad david, we found a 190 2.3 and have been building it slowly over the winter. engine and auto trans come out on saturday and a 5-speed will be going back in place
