You might try In-Pro too. I had clear corners from them and lost one to an 18-wheeler. I bot a replacement on ebay and found out the hard way that there is clear and then there is "clear". The corners from In-Pro have a slight smoke tint to them whick look close to the headlight lens. The replacement that I got from ebay was much more of a neon-white. I'm sure its just personal preference, but I didn't like the neon at all. After calling Ken at In-Pro he said they were the only ones that have the slightly smoke ones. His 800# is 604-6776. Good luck.

They should be around $150 to $200 for the pair. I'll let you know how everything turns out. First, I have to finish paying off my euro headlights, then I'm gonna order the taillights. ------------------ Richie 1986 300E W124 tint windows clear corners euro headlights 16"chrome lorinsers RS90 soon to be 94/95 taillights [This message has been edited by rich30769 (edited 09-30-2000).] |

I bought my 94/95 Tailamp lenses from the dealer and they only cost me $53 each. Definitely a must upgrade for the 124.

Bill,
U gotta b kidding me....with all the $200 a pair floating around?....they r only $53 ea from the dealer???? Thanx so much...I presume that is the lens only. Can I also presume that you had to switch to an amber bulb? Lastly...I remember reading where you put the burl wheel on and it was no problem retrofit. I'm 6'8" and really like how the big soft stock wheel feels in my hand. Just wondered about the adjustment in feel, for you, if any, in switching. Just a note...as a testimony to MB's engineering...I don't even drive with the seat all the way back. There are plenty of big US cars that I can't fit in, but the 124 fits so well. I'm with Scott. What dealer is this? I'm willing to bet, if I go to the dealer in the NYC area, they will be a whole lot more than $53. each! When I get my price I'm almost assured I'll contact you so I can get the address to your dealer. Stay tuned! Again like Scott, where did you get your steering wheel from and how much? From the same dealer?

I called my dealer today. He said $85 each. Better than the aftermarket stuff. Then I reached someone from an ebay auction...millermbz.com and they said they carry the lens for $74. Bill, you must have a benevolent dealer. Thanx for the heads-up.

For what it's worth....I spoke with Steve at www.europarts-sd.com and asked about rear lens. He says he new OEM for $63 each. His number is (858) 451-0020. The dealer claims the part numbers are 124 828 41 66 and 42 66.

Hey guys, sorry I was tied upa little. I just put E430 rear springs in her and have the ride height at the fender lips, 24 3/4" front and 25" rear. Looking sweet. Hopefully I'll have the Sportline front lower cntrl arm bushings in up front with a 500E swaybar this weekend. She'll be a COMMANDER! I will have to roll the fenders now though. Didn't mean to mislead yall but that figure is my cost on the lenses. I couldn't believe the $200 dollar ranges. Yes you do have to go with the amber bulb, but I didn't. As for the burl wheel, I got it as a takeoff from a 140 Sclass. I already had the 92up wheel and the swap was very simple. Just had to switchover the guts from each wheel. Looks, feels, and works as if it was OE. I love the feel, its so smooth and it never slips outta your hand. Definitely gets HOT when in the sun. Only adjustment was to not spend so much time driving the thing. Let me know how you guys make out.
