I'm looking to find an internal relay for a hirschman antenna for a 1992 300CE. If anyone knows where one can be found please let me know. I have tested the rest and all else works fine, but the relay is definately shot.

I have already searched and E-mailed all the auto recycling places I could find for mercedes, so am awaiting responses from there as well.

Perhaps someone out there has an antenna where the motor burned but the relay is still good that wouldn't mind selling it to me cheap.

They claim they do not make parts for old antenna's, but when I bought my replacement Hirschmann at the dealer, I had to return my core.

Someone is rebuilding them, so there have to be individual parts available. I remember calling a place that I found in the Mercedes parts section of Hemmings Motor News. They had all the parts for them. I wish I could remember the name. I think they advertise under Hirschmann antenna repair.

Performance products carries many parts for them, I would call them and ask. 1-800-243-1220
They list antennas, drive belt,grommet, mast, and they may be able to refer you.

I think I found the place that had parts. They said they would sell me the part, or I could send mine in and have it rebuilt. Here it is:

I hope that helps. I was really frustrated trying to repair mine, because all my parts were good, but I had a broken pot metal case, and it was unrepairable, and unavailable.
