16" Light Weight CLK Wheels
Up for sale is my set of light weight 16" CLK wheels.
As you can see, no tires are included. These wheels are some of the lightest Mercedes-Benz has ever made. These were originally available as optional upgrades for W210 CLK320s. They will fit W124s, W201s, W123s, W114s, and W115s with different lug nuts. Included with this sale: -4x CLK 16" wheels -4x brand new center caps -20x short lug nuts needed to mount these wheels to a W124 chassis car. These lug nuts may work with other models, but I know for a fact that they work with W124s as I test mounted a wheel to the front and rear hubs to ensure fitment. I am located in Arlington, TX and would like to sell locally. I do not want to ship them. Price: $400 cash

Here's what they look like on a 300TD.
If I didn't have a set already, I'd buy them. They look to be in excellent condition and the center caps are much nicer than the bundt center caps that I use.

Agreed, the wheels look to be in very nice condition! Our 300TE has these same wheels. Fits perfectly on the W124 with a new set of shorter lug bolts.

IMHO
I feel that these wheels are THE consummate "retro" upgrade for our 80's
cars. They are very strong and light. At 16 inches, they "fit" visually very well on our cars. If you get into the more modern 17" and up, most end up looking garish. These look as though they could have been a legit 80's "plus two" upgrade. My car feels great with these wheels and MXV4 tires. I couldn't be more pleased. These were NOT my first choice of wheels, but now after a couple years, I wouldn't trade for any other wheel. I'm NOT running spacers. They almost don't fit, but I have had no problems in the last 2 years. These are going to be the wheels everyone wants. Very light, very strong, retro look. Look at my gallery for pics. I wouldn't trade for any other wheel.

Everyone had their own opinion- mine is that these rims look like a cheap spare wheel. Ugly-ist rims ever invented by MB if you ask me, and I'd never put a set on my cars- even for free with new tires.
