Ronal R9

I have a set of R9 wheels. I actually purchased them for my Jaguar, howeverthe offset is incorrect in a way that cannot be corrected. They are cosmetically very good. Here is the clincher though, they have a 120.7/4.755 lug bolt pattern. The old fella I got them from said they were for his full race Camaro in the 80s. They are 16x9 with an E11 offset. This number is cast into the wheel 8Jx16H2E11. I'm not sure if they could be made to workon a Mercedes. I'd like to get my money back, so I'm asking 375.00

Here's an idea, put one on your 300TD and see if it fits. If it does then let's talk!

It does not.

That was why I explained the parameters. I don't have a even a clue if an et11 offset would even be a Mercedes thing. The 4.75 Chevy bolt pattern is not good, however measuring that is a bit weird, look it up. I don't know if they would fit a Benz with an offset of 11. Just throwing it out there. I thought I remembered form reading here some Benz platform had an ET 11offset, I have no idea if the 120.7 bolt pattern will work. These are just nice clean wheels that didn't work for me

Didn't mean to sound like a jerk. As soon as I posted I realized that you'd already covered that.

The following applies to rear wheel drive older 'Merican cars:

Chevy and the rest of GM had two 5 bolt patterns, 4.75 and 5.0".
Caddies and some of the senior full size cars had 5.0".

Ford, and Mopar used 4.5" 5 bolt patterns, Lincoln and some large Fords used 5.0".

The 4.5" pattern is very close to MB, but not quite....

IF these ARE 4.75" wheels, they will be exclusive to the small GM application. There may well be some foriegn applications, like early 240Z bolt patterns matching 1st gen Mustang 6 cylinder patterns....(4 on 4.5").

You'll also need to watch the center hub diameter, as these can vary among manufacturers.

An offset of 11 will expect a lot of fender clearance.

Hope this helps,

Jim

I've seen quite a number already of these older 80's Camaros with the said Ronals, to my surprise.
