Anyone want a free W210 radiator?
"Free to good home" OEM Mercedes radiator for some W210 cars. Plastic tabs on top are missing. You pick up or pay for shipping. If your radiator is crudded up and not cooling well, this would be an inexpensive fix.
After 33 days, our 1996 E300D (W210, OM606NA) is finally home from the body shop -- see "Hit a deer!" here. Among other things, the shop replaced the radiator because two plastic mounting tabs on top snapped off. Not wanting a perfectly good radiator to go to the scrapyard, I asked for it and they gave it to me. AFAIK, this is the original factory Behr radiator, part number 210 500 12 03. EPC show it fitting W210.020 (E300D), 070 (E430), 072 (E420), 270 and 272 (T-sedans?). Front view Rear view It has always had Mercedes coolant in it and never had any coolant or transmission fluid leaks. The only problem is the missing top mounting tabs (which I do not have); they don't support the weight, just keep the top from moving back and forth. I'm sure there's a way to rig a replacement. The transmission cooler has been drained and plugged so it won't leak in shipping. The coolant section has been flushed. The fins have been power washed so the radiator is ready to install after you devise a couple of top brackets. You might even be able to swap in the plastic top from your old radiator. PM if interested. All I want is for this thing not to go to waste and to cover my shipping costs from 95404 to your location or pick it up here for free. Jeremy

Looks temptingly W124-compatible. Course I don't know for sure, and shipping radiators is also a PITA.

I can't seem to edit my original post, must be a time limit, so I will note here that the radiator is gone to a new home. I found a nice box at a radiator shop so shipping was easy.
