You can add Freeze-12 without modifying your system.

I bought a machine on craigslist with a free 20lbs in a 30lb cylinder , no cert or whatever. You can still get the small can adapters on ebay without the cert

You can become certified in less than an hour.

Google "609 certification".

Blimey has this already started? I have 24 cans sitting here, I'll probably list them in the for sale section in about a month.

Try Freeze12, cheap, and works just a well as R12. I have a 1986 930, which has probably the most inefficient AC system ever installed in a car, and I have been very impressed. I was stocking up on R12, then after I used the Freeze12 I sold all of my R12....Just a thought for you...

The r-12 and Freeze-12 hose-can connections are the same, you can buy them on E-bay.

Thumbs up

F12 is crap, just stick with R12... the cost is a wash anyway.

Look on CL, it is all over.
