Parting 1985 300TD
 

Over the next month or so I will be making the transition from two cars to one and will be selling parts off of both cars that I don't need. I have a blue interior from one of the cars that I will be selling as well as many other parts. Some things are in better shape than others. Let me know what you are interested in and I will let you know if I have it for sale and can send pictures to see what you think.

How clean is the hatch?

The hatch for the car I am parting is not in the best shape. Many of the body panels on the car have some sort of dent, rust or both. There is not much rust to speak of on the hatch, but there is a dent where someone backed into something. If you are interested, just pm me your email address and I will send you some pictures. I would take $25 for the hatch if you wanted to come pick it up.

Engine?

The Engine is a maybe. I am pulling the engine in the old car regardless and if the new one runs well for a little while and shows no sign of malice to me, I will go ahead and sell the old one. My wife will certainly be happier that way.

Does the Td have rear head rests, and third row seat?

Do you have the rear handle blue plastic that sits under the handle to lift up the rear storage cover?

Jimandsuzy - I plan to drive the completed car for a few weeks to be sure the transmission is operating well and then I am going to sell the other one. I can let you know once I am ready to sell it.

Disesldan - I do have the seat belt assemblies. Are you looking for the receiver end or the part in the door?

Sba121400 - I do have the plastic piece from the storage area cover. It looks to have a couple of cracks, but is in one piece. Give me your email address and I will try to remove it in one piece and can send you some pictures.

Both. the belt pawl in mine is stuck and I've been advised to get both the belt and receiver as a set.

Looking for front corner markers (turn signals) if they are the same as the 126
( 85) stock amber.

The turn signal lights are available, but I find it difficult to believe the W123 and the W126 lights are the same. Let me know if you know otherwise and I can see about getting you some pictures.
