Differentials 3.45 & 2.87 1.1 liter S,SL,E 320

I have the 3.45 gear ratio open differential (NON-LSD)out of my S320 for sale. I just installed a 3.67 from a SL320, they are the same size. It is also the same size diff. as My 1996 E series for both 300 diesel and 320 gas engines. Which I have two more differential in 2.87 ratio to sell. Yes someone could put the 3.45 in the E body, it would launch the car off the line, but would probably rev. high on the highways. I'd guess over 3000 rpm at 70mph.
Anyway I only want $25. for either ratio differential. I have both the W210 diff cover and mid 90's SL diff cover, if you want to be specific. I do not wish to ship, but if you want it shipped you pay. I'm located in Queens, NY.

???

I do not know if your diff housing size is the same as the ones I have. I also do not know what your gear ratio is. Check the back of your diff lower right corner, where the cover bolts on. You might have to use a razor blade to clean the surface. The gear ratio is always there.

Lowering rpm on an 87 diesel? It's already as tall as it goes, 2.65. Going to 2.24 seems like it would make it too pokey.

My friend did it on his sdl. He had a 2.88 and went to a 2.47. Got him 3 extra mpg. I'll peak at my diff and see what i have soon. Where do you get 2.24? That 603 TD is a rocket as it is. I'd like to try a 2.24.
