This is the one that was on CL for a while. I believe he was asking $1100 for it.

I have about $1000 in parts in it, but I'll take $800 This was for a project that just never got off the ground. So I'm just willing to get rid of it.

I'm in the market for a 240D engine. I'd prefer it was early 80's but a late 70's would probably do. I just don't like having to mess with oiling any injection pumps.

Send me a PM with additional info. As I can't come to you, would you put up a youtube video of the motor running?

Depending on where this engine is in FL I'd be willing to take a look at it for anyone who'd be interested.

Thanks Aquaticedge. My poor 240D has been heartbroken for way too long.

Yeah, I think if one of you guys can take a look at the engine and tranny, I'd sure appreciate it.

My 240D has been down longer than I wanted. Also, after driving this 300D Turbo, the 240D should seem peppier with a standard tranny.

Maybe a compression test, start and run on blocks, pictures etc...

I will return the favor if I can for anyone wanting to purchase something in DFW.
