After all this time working on MB's you don't have a set of valve wrenches?
If did you sell them when you sold the 123?

joe, just use 2 straight 14mm wrenches, i did it last week, no issues at all.

No it would not require you to remove those injector lines. I did it on my OM617 turbo last week, you can do it on a OM616.

Just thought it would save you a little money you could put towards other parts.

Yeah, I got a handful of 14s from the pawn shop and found 2 that work well. One is a bit shorter and one kinda long and skinny.
Just need to attack it from a few different angles.

yeah, I just use straight 14s too. I ground one down to be thinner, but they work OK.

I've always wanted the Hazet set so I'm just going to go with those. It is just one of those things I have to have.
