FS: 4 15" 15-hole wheels, plus 2 mounted tires, for local pick-up only

These are up for grabs. They're in ok shape, no major problems that I noticed. $150 for the set. You come pick em up and give em a good home. Thanks!

Putting your location in your profile or in the post would be helpful.

Yeah, just noticed that, I thought it was already. I'm located in Western Mass.

Might also mention what they fit.
From description, they could be two possible offsets.... which would be critical to fitment.

True, well, they fit my 81 300SD w126, and I'll have to get back to you on the offset/part number because I didn't realize there were 2 different offsets for this style.

OK, you've got the offset that is in the mid twenties. The other offset (high 40's) fits the W124 and W201 cars for 15" flatface wheels.

Your wheels will fit W126, R107, and W123 series without spacers, as long as the proper lug bolt length is used. The bolts from the original application are the correct ones for the above fitments.

These wheels are a nice update from the 14" bundt style on the above chassis.

Jim

Thanks for doing my homework while I was at work Jim!

They ARE a nice easy upgrade, make the car look less ancient, and here's an update. I actually have 4 tires available. I have 2 tires that still have some life left on them unmounted, and I just realized one of the 2 that are mounted (and prolly spent anyways) is leaking but not flat. So there's that.

Now after all of that work Jim, you gonna make the drive up here for em???

Also, the lugs that I have for sale will work with these wheels, they just don't have the extended neck like the original equipment so the lugs will sit further in the holes.

Bumpdate!! Doing some Spring cleaning...

Still available, looked at the 2 mounted tires, one has a nail it in but it still holds air! I have a third tire from the set to replace this if you want.

Got any pics?

What size and type are the tires? Are there 4 rims, 1,2-3 tires? I may make the drive, has the price dropped?

@sassparilla_kid - wish I could help, I'm even potentially heading as far West as Chicago sometime next month, if that even happens, but not that far West, though I'd love to be on the West coast this time of year.

@Jacamo9 - Read the thread. They are the 15" 15-hole wheels, mid 20's offset (I believe it's 25). There are 4 wheels, 3 tires (2 mounted, 1 unmounted), but one of the mounted tires has a nail or screw in it though it's still holding air. The wheels aren't lookers but they're mechanically sound. I used em for most of 3 years with no problems. I have pics but they aren't great, and I'd wanna clean the wheels before taking new pics. Where you coming from?

Millis, MA. I was wanting to know what size(205/65/15 etc.), condition and type tires (Michelin,Cooper etc.) I know the rims should be 15x25 offset by the car they were on. Better pictures when you can would be nice. Thanks

My apologies! I read too quickly. From memory, tires are Goodyear Assurance TripleTred, prolly like, 205 75 R15 or so. I'll edit this tomorrow afternoon if I'm wrong.

They're worn, I'll do the coin test tomorrow to figure out how much tread is left. I got the tires used with the wheels and ran em during the warm months for about 2 seasons. When the car died, I stole a pair of tires for my new vehicle that had a leak. Then one of the Goodyear's got a leak so I replaced those with another pair of tires (pitched the bad one). Hence the odd number of tires, but you'll want it to swap out the one with the screw in it (then get it plugged and keep it as a spare).

I looked up Millis and I've got a convenient halfway meeting place if/when you're interested. You should also check my other post for any misc parts you may need.

I'll clean up the wheels and take fresh pics tomorrow.
