WTB: New or near new w123 rear bumper shocks
for n-american rear bumpers. should be the same shocks for coupe, wagon and sedan, but i may be wrong. i have a sedan, 82 300d-t. looking for a new or near new pair for a reasonable price. open to trades.

I looked up new ones go for $360 each !!

oh wow, I didn't realize how much they are new. i thought they were cheap! i actually just took off my rear sedan bumper because i'm getting ready to put on the wagon bumper. the shocks are the same, but the shocks on there are a bit cruddy. if they're good unless there's been an impact i guess i don't need a new set and the ones on there are fine. i'll just pressure wash them and repaint them black and bolt them back on and be good to go. what's weird is that on my bumper, the shock isn't bolted to the metal bumper, it just slides onto a groove welded onto the bumper. i'm guessing that's normal
