Hey guys,


So when I got my car(I think about 4 months ago) I bought a brand new bosch alternator for it. I just got the factor 55amp unit as I didn't need anything more at the time. Since then, I don't think I've put more then a few hundred miles on the car, and now I have to upgrade the alternator. I am building a custom stereo for it and the stock unit is not enough. I'm going to be buying one of the Saab units to get the 115amps. I'll then have a pretty new Bosch alternator sitting there doing nothing. Note: It works perfect, just isn't enough amps for it. I'll probably try to sell it. I think I paid about $120 for it. I have no clue what to ask for it. However, if someone needs one and you want to make an offer, please feel free too.

I'd be open to trade too if someone had something I need laying around and needs an alternator. lol I need quite a few interior bits. Then main things I need are the 4 carpet mats. All of the other carpet is there, and just needs a good cleaning. However, the actual carpet mats(not protective floor mats but the actual carpet pieces that go in the foot wells) are either missing or destroyed. I'm open to any shade of brown, or black. I know that's a long shot, but you never know.

Also, on the odd even that someone has a Bosch AL129X they would for some reason trade for my 55amp unit + cash or something, I would be happy with that too. Again, I know kind of an odd ad, but I just figure it's good to get a head start. The alternator is still in use, but I will probably buy the new one within the next week or so. Thanks for viewing!

Edit: Forgot to mention, the car is a 1984 Mercedes 300D. And I am located in Brandon, Florida. I'm 10 minutes from Tampa, Fl. Thanks larsalan for reminding me!

Someone could probably find some carpets for you. But where are you? And what body is the car?
