FS Motec M-4 w/ harness
Requests for aid with Megasquirt and other standalone ECUs appear here from time to time, which would indicate a general interest in aftermarket engine management.
Here is a Motec M-4 ECU with a new unterminated 10 foot loom (harness), and communications cable. All options have been enabled with the exception of telemetry. The following is the description of options from the Motec catalog: 26004 ADVANCED Tuning & Logging (512K) = PRO * Logging (512k), Fuel and Ignition Individual Cylinder 3D Tables, Fuel Timing 3D Table, Start or End of Injection, Fuel Second Load Table, Ignition Accel/Decel, Ignition Dwell Table, Closedloop Wideband Lambda Control (requires 26006 or external meter), Gear Change Ignition Cut, Overrun Boost Enhancement (Anti Lag), Ground Speed Limiting, Traction Control & Launch Control 26005 LOGGING (512K) (included as part of 26004) * Allows logging of the ECU sensors and operating parameters to the internal data logging memory. The logged data may then be analyzed by the MoTeC i2 Standard Software. Data Logging option is enabled for an evaluation period of 6 hrs (engine running time) from new. 26006 SINGLE WIDEBAND LAMBDA * Allows Wideband Lambda (Air Fuel Ratio) measurement, which may be used for data logging or closed loop control of the Air Fuel Ratio. The measurement is fully temperature compensated and will accurately measure ratios of 0.75 to 1.2 Lambda (11:1 to 18:1) when used with the MoTeC Wideband exhaust gas sensor. Lambda is enabled for an evaluation time of 6 hours (of engine running time) from new. (Advanced Functions also required for Wideband closed loop Lambda control. $1600 with the understanding of some flexibility. Post reply, PM, or E-mail |

I havent heard much of mo-tec is this mainly obd II stuff, and for 4-6-8?
f.a.s.t. seems to be trying to dominate lately . I started studying stuff back when haltec emtech acell/dfi, electromotive and those guys were the main names,, the newer mega squirt stuff is supposed to be able to accomplish anything a used would want to do listening to those that trumpet the MS message... anyway I dont have $1600 for an add on computer. |
