1976 Mercedes Benz 300D part out
All, I put this in the for sale section but it has not gotten much traction so I'm now going to sell it for parts. I plan on moving the wheels and tires to my 280CE, along with shocks and sanden compressor. The rest is going to parts.
I drove this car daily last year and it ran very well. The seats are in pretty good shape, as are most of she sheet metal and drive train (except the head). It ran great until it got hot which I suspect was the fan clutch because I told the guy I sold it to to watch it. I now need the space so it's time to part it. Please Email me with whatever you need.

Would it be possible to post a few photos of the engine compartment? It is hard for me to know how much is compatible between my 220D w115 and a 300D w115. Thanks.

Hi,it's kind of tough to get pictures now as the is in a dark storage unit. What do you need?
I can usually cross reference part numbers and let you know.

Al-
No worries about the photos. There are no specific parts that I need, but if the opportunity arises, I try to replace things with newer/better/less rusty parts than my engine has. That is why I didn't take the time myself to cross reference everything in EPC. Good luck with everything. It is a sad story regarding the car. Andrew |

Hello,
I managed to sell this car complete, but I do know that there was a W115 300D at the pick'n'pull on Walten Walker Blvd which may have what you need. Good luck.
