300SD gauges wanted OIL/FUEL/TEMP cluster

I don't need the entire cluster just that one component.

The temp and fuel needles are jumping after the temp reaches ~80c.

You probably have a faulty ground, or a short, some sort of wiring problem.

I checked the ground throughout the cluster and from the harness to the body. It's not a ground. Perhaps it not the cluster but I'm using a trial and error fix.

No one I know has ever had a systematic problem with these gauges so I'm plowing virgin ground here. If someone has a replacement for this cluster I will buy it. I will send the faulty cluster (if that turns out to be the problem) to one of our resident EEs for diagnosis.

I'm at the end of my wits.

300SD oil/gas/temp gauge

I have one, taken from a 1981? 300SD that donated a motor. This one:

As such, I've never
seen it powered up, and I don't have an SD to try it on. I think the SD uses
a different temp sensor setup; and from memory it has an electric oil gauge.

I only remember this last bit because I had to work out a new connection
for the mechanical gauge in the TD recipient of the motor.

How's $30 + shipping sound?

Thanks guys. I bought an entire cluster off ebay for 31 bucks. I'd like to have another oil pressure cluster to repair the extra but need to hold off until the money is not needed elsewhere.
