I am looking for a core engine for long term rebuilding / spare for my 1965 220Sb Sedan. Engine code 180.941.
I do not necessarily need external items like generator/alternator, intake, etc, but if they are on the engine that is ok. I am mainly looking for a bare longblock , valve cover down to the to oil pan.
I would really prefer that it is not locked up, but may consider a frozen engine if the price is super right.
Ideally, if it could be within a 2-3 hour drive of Asheville, NC that would be best for me. I also have pick up capability near Allentown/Reading, PA and in most areas of Connecticut/Massachusetts/Rhode Island.
Please let me know if you have anything available, and the price. I will request pics too.

want to upgrade to a similar vintage 220se motor? It's setup with a 4-speed and is sitting in the car still. It' here in NY, but I'm in Reading PA often enough.
