Any parts let me know. I dropped a timing chain link down inside the engine, have tried desperately and now I give up. The car ran pur-fectly (pun intended) and dumb @$$ here tried installing a new timing chain because I heard say it was a good idea . . . . uggghhh . . . . any way the entire car is up for parts or reasonable offer.

It could very well be made to run again, and you are welcome to come here to my house, fix it up and take the whole thing for $1,300.

Car has 214K miles. om602 5 cylinder diesel engine 2.5 liters. body has some rot. Chasis is solid. I had done a recent oil sample analysis which seemed to indicate all normal wear. The oil sample analysis indicated no red flags so I believe the engine is as solid as ever.

I will consider crating the motor. That's kind of a huge task and I don't really even know how to do it or how much a motor in this state would be worth.

Again, the motor can be made to run again just as strong as ever.

Let me know what parts you want injector pump, turbo, head, doors, transmission, etc.

also, any advice on which parts are worth money would be appreciated because it is at my friends house. It can stay there for a while, but they will be wanting there garage back at some point. I will need to be junking the rolling chasis if this doesn't get any takers. If one of you more experienced folks can tell me which parts to save and hand on to for the greater good of the community than let me know and I'll pick them off for later use. Thanks!
