I am looking for a window regulator for the drivers side front...anyone have a parts car? Power windows...

xander - it is my opinion that you will be alot better off purchasing these types of parts new.

I agree with engatwork, and I'll share my reasoning. I have a 1980 300D with 240 k miles and had to replace the pass front regulator this past summer. The webbing on the regulator frame fails by cracking over time and use. A used regulator is going to ave the same age and possibly more, possibly less use. Mileage isn't a reliable indicator because the owner may have enjoyed driving with the windows open.

A new regulator can be found from Fastlane etc.. for under $100. By the time you go through the PITB of replacement, the $50 or so you save is going to feel like nothing if you have to go through it again anytime soon. The newer regulators also have improved castings so the part should last for the life of the car.
