Parting out a 1981 300CD -- coupe parts

I’m parting out a W123 300CD coupe. 181k miles, but odometer doesn’t work. Silver on black interior. This car is a bit perplexing -- some systems have been very well taken care of, and some not. Black interior that is darn near perfect, especially the seats and door panels. Body is straight but rough, repainted at some point and now peeling the clear coat. Have yet to evaluate the NA motor -- working inside-out as I dismantle it. Plan to do a compression test and will post results.

Some highlights:

-- Amber Euro turn signal lamps, in very good shape, except all tabs have broken off.
-- Tail lights in great shape.
-- All glass and window regulators in good shape and work.
-- Black seats are beautiful. Front and rear. No rips or tears, good support, and cargo nets are tight. Probably the nicest seats I’ve seen. For the fronts, the rear seat bolts were rusted to the floorboards, so the seat assembly has been Dremeled out. So you’d need to swap seat rails with your old seats.

Let me know what you need. I’d be happy to provide photos.

300CD Update

Weatherstripping and some parts unique to front coupe seats are sold.

Plenty left on this rig. EURO amber turn signal lamps. Excellent window regulators and motors, window glass, rear deck, chrome trim, rear seats, etc. Motor is quiet and strong. Body panels and doors need paint, but are straight and rust-free. Let me know what you're looking for.

Thanks,
Ted

I need the rear interior black side panels, C-pillar panels, and floormats. If the seats are MB-tex and six-pleat, I need one front seatback squab, will also take the headrests. May need some other parts, will check out my black interior cope when I'm back home in a couple days. Is your passenger mirror a power one?

Also would be happy for rear window glass and driver door glass as mine is scratched...but that may need to wait. Let me know what you'd like for the above and glass separately if you could!

Plenty left

Plenty of good parts remaining on this rig, including many coupe-specific items.

Complete 617 NA engine -- quiet, smooth idle; includes fuel pump, PS pump, injectors, manifolds, etc.
Tranny for parts (slips / flares)
Driveshaft
Differential
Good Exhaust (quiet)

Door glass
Front windshield
Rear coupe-specific windshield window
Coupe doors
Lots of good coupe-specific trim and moulding
Black rear seat bench + back in great shape
Black carpets in great shape

Too much to list. Let me know what you're interested in. Thanks.

Lots left

Just sold door cars, rear side panels, C-pillar trim, and a few other bits to a great forum member.

Plenty still left on this car:

Drivetrain
- OM 617.912 NA motor - want to sell complete, as long-block with fuel pump, etc. Asking $400.
- Tranny for parts (slips)
- Driveshaft (coupe specific length?)
- Differential
- 2 good axleshafts
- 4 brake calipers
- front & rear suspension assemblies

Body / Interior
- Hood is good, needs repaint
- Trunk
- Coupe doors in good shape
- Front windshield - coupe specific
- Rear window - coupe specific
- Both doors window glass - also coupe specific
- Front bumper (mint)
- Rear bumper
- Chrome trim around window and C-pillars
- Rear seat bench + back - black Tex, excellent shape
- Blower motor
- Belt-height exterior moulding - all in good shape
- Door sill moulding
- Door chrome trim pieces
- etc.
- etc.... too much to list

I'm getting to the point of pulling the motor, throwing some parts into bins, and scraping the body. So let me know sooner than later if you want something.

Thanks for looking!

Still a lot left. I need to make space, and will be sending it to the crusher before the holidays. Willing to let stuff go for reasonable prices. Let me know what you need. I'd hate to crush good parts!

Yes. Apologizes for neglecting to post the numbers.

#1: 220 psi
#2: 345 psi
#3: 310 psi
#4: 340 psi
#5: 320 psi

Here's a video of the motor running. Idles smoothly and has good power, despite the slightly lower #1 cylinder.
