WTB: POR-15

Anyone have an unopened can of POR-15 for sale? 4 oz cans preferred, but I will consider a bigger can.

You know people such as

Eastwood - Auto Body Repair Tools | MIG Welder | TIG Welder | Plasma Cutter | Auto Body Supplies & Accessories

sell it don't you?

Are you just looking for a smaller quantity?

They used to do a set of six little pots which were ideal - 'cos the big pots dry out and get wasted - but the people linked above don't seem to sell them any more...

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm just looking for 1 can, and hoping someone has 1 they are not going to use. I have not found local places that sell it, but I will keep checking. I really just need about 8 ounces, but I can't buy that amount from POR -- they sell the starter kit - or a 6 pack - or a quart, etc. None of those are what I really need.

POR-15 does sell small amounts, you know...

This one looks especially nifty -- I think I'll be getting it soon.

Do people want to pool money and buy a six-pack?

I might be interested in a couple of cans...

Me to, I am about out and always need it for something. I keep it sealed up tight in the can I get it in and keep it in the very back of the "second" or laundry room fridge. I split a half gallon with Bajaman about 5 years ago, and still have a little left. If you only need a little say like a spray can cap full, have everything lined up, know exactly where you are going to pour it, pour out the amount and get that top back on immediately and keep it (the can) in a plastic bag in the back of the fridge. Mark it good so someone doesn't think it is some type of syrup or molasses. Forget about using any thing that you use while painting with the stuff. It is impossible to clean it up! Use very cheap paint brushes and throw away paint dishes. But if you keep the lid on tight and in a cold place, you can keep it for a long time. Humidity is what really sets that stuff up. Anyway, if you are going to split a six pack, I will take one.

Unless you live close to each other I reckon you'll be saving on paint but spending on postage.

(I too would join in with a share purchase but obviously I could by the pack of 6 little tins for the price of sharing for one from you good folks in the US of A)
