WTB: Entire Throttle Linkage Set Up

Howdy,
I just got a 1983-4 "Frankendiesel" 300D NA with the M Pump and I need the entire throttle linkage set up. I need everything from the firewall foward. I do not need the throttle bushing (the ball of plastic that crumbles). Right now I got a "shaft" which has a piece of rubber hose, twine, and some clamps which is serving as my throttle linkage so I am lucky I can drive at all right now. Looking for something nice shape. Not rusty or bent up. I have seen these at the yard with the nice cadium look but I let one just slip thru my fingers and now I need it. Also, any advice on how to adjust the throttle / idle would be appreciated. Thanks. Please PM Me. Can also swap my injector service for a really really nice throttle linkage set up. I DO NOT need the cruise control junk. Just got rid of the cruise control.

Any one out there with the linkage ???

Just re-viving the requested WTB -- 300D NA -- I think the engine is a 1981 version. Not sure, however. W123 Chassis Platform / OM617.910

Does anyone have one willing to sell or trade ? I need the entire set up. OR, can one canibalize a 240D set up ? I will post some pictures this evening of what I got.

I do not have cruise control and no pollution crap. I need the steel cable that appears to be part of the set up.

PLEASE ? Willing to trade my injector service. For a nice linkage set up, I will include a nice set of BOSCH nozzles (used) when I rebuild your injectors. No peeing, and I will clean, shim, pop test and balance your injectors in exchange for the throttle linkage set up. What I'm offering is worth about $100.

Any takers ...?

Thanks,

I think there's still a NA in the yard, I'll drop by to see if the linkage is still there.

Can you use the turbo linkage at all?

My man Ben !

IDK about the turbo linkage. I would assume the rod from the Throttle Bushing to the linkage is the same, but not sure. If you hit the yard, I need everything ! Even the throttle bushing since I need to make sure its the same as the turbo type. Thanks !!!!
Are you OK with an injector service / nozzle swap ?

Please PM or email me.

I am pretty sure the top of the pump is different in height from the us spec pumps so the hard lines are completely different than on a us model, hence the problem getting the cruise control to work. Ditto getting the rubber sandwich thing which I had replaced with fuel hose and binder twine.

I have nearly a whole setup for a MW pump. I told you over at STD too. I dunno if you want it or not?
The only thing missing are like 2 or 4 or 6 of those ball end thingies. But you could replace those maybe.
If you want I will dig it out of a box in the shed. Prolly ship it to you for under $10 and see if it will help you out.

Hey Lars,

Where have you been ? Pretty quiet on STD ... ?

I know ... but the NA version is totally different. Poop. BTW -- I don't need or want the cruise control contraption or any pollution crap either. What I got is ready to fail at the lease opportune moment -- It is nothing more that a few hose clamps, some rubber hose, and twine ... very clever but not so good.

The search continues. I want to avoid buying new at $105 bucks...
