The M103 is a 2 valve motor and the M104 is a 4 valve so the exhaust manifolds are different. ( There is a 3.0 used in the SL but it has a M104 4 valve head )
Plus, you will need some sort of fuel enrichment otherwise the motor will go lean and burn up.
I'd be wary of this, first time poster with a get around the language filter screen name. . . ( even with the post it to e bay offer. )

Yes please be wary. I have all sorts of forum post in all sort of car and motorcycle forums all of which I will gladly provide to anyone to help establish credibility. I am a European car nut whose owned more cars than most folks own in their entire lifetime. I originally got into the euro world by way of VW. Then move into BMW's (thus screen name ... joke goes "whats the difference between a bmw and a porcupine? With a BMW the pr1cks are on the inside. Made even more personally funny but a friend of mine whose known to be a real a$$ calling me a pr1ck). I have owned over 50 VW's and have owned 10 E30 bmw's and a e38 740il. Now all these cars haven't been drivers but more than half have been rebuilt, repair, or restored and sold or traded off. I have taken a temporary hiatus from cars for sport bikes. I came by this partial kit as payment for some work I did on a guys car who ran out of money and only had these as payment. I currently have no plans to own a w124 in the foreseeable future so I am selling off this kit.
So there's the story. I understand you are trying to watch out for your brethren ... but maybe being less accusatory would be a little more welcoming to an outsider. As car enthusiasts we are all banded together by the love of things automotive and mechanical. :)
As for what the kit will need to work on the m103 ... yes a fuel enrichment system would be needed. Something like Split Second (think thats the name) fuel system would be ideal. The injection system on the m103 is quite similar to the fuel system on the 80's and early 90's VW's a system that I am vastly familiar with. I have some links and info on this kit from other enthusiast's installs if anyone would like to learn more.
