WTB: W123 PARTS PLEASE TAKE A LOOK

Howdy,
I am looking to buy the entire throttle linkage set up from a 1980's Euro 300d manual trans cars // W123 Chassis Application // 5 cylinder with "M" Pump OM617.912 engine (NA). This is an odd ball. The MW pump linkage will not work. NO cruise control or pollution crap is needed or wanted. No junk please.
I service, clean, pop test and balance diesel fuel injectors. Willing to trade or buy for the above or below.
Second: Looking to buy Diesel AAZ injectors from 1.9 TD VWs, early to mid 1990's. Looking to buy a set of 5. I need the bodies in good shape, e.g., no busted nipples, heavy pitting, et cet. If the nozzles themselves are unknown as to condition, then no biggie. BUT, they must be complete and completely rebuildable. No junk please.
Please PM me or email is probably better at
Blevins_49@hotmail.com
Thanks !

Does it have to be a manual trans Euro to match the set-up you need?
And how can one distinguish the "M" pump easily? Is this on all NA euro 300's?

While I am going with nagging questions: could you offer a quick detail on the difference in these euro IPs?

I scored some parts of a 1984 auto Euro sedan in a yard about 2 hrs north of me (Marion, NC). IF you think it might have the set-up you need, then I will try to stop by again one day and see if the linkages are still there

The throttle set ups are seriously difficult to fathom! If you look in chapter 30 in the FSM you can see loads of variations on the same theme.

I reckon that you'll probably need a pre-1980 set up for an M pump.

Greazzer if you get really stuck feel free to get in touch with me - I can probably source what you want over here but be warned Holland ain't cheap and neither is the postage...

...I reckon you'll be better off trying to find out if the parts on an "American" 300CD are suitable for your needs. From about 1980 onwards here in Europe it seems to me that we all got the M/RSF pump which is slightly different. Pictures of the older European M pump and the M/RSF pump are here (if this helps)

This is a 1983 Euro 300D NA engine in a W123 1983 240D. The M Pump looks different. I will get some pictures shortly. I will also try to re-post some pictures I got from other forum members of what this looks like. And yes, this is a unique or particular application. The MW pump set won't work.

Thanks guys and I hope to score one shortly since I am getting my donor car this Saturday. The Sleeper Part Deux !

The top of the euro pump, I believe, is lower (or higher) than the top of the US pump, thus the hard pipes will not interchange and all (or most of) the linkage parts are different.

I thougtht of putting a us spec pump on the car just to be able to hook up the cruise control but decided I liked the way the engine ran too much to change it.

I saw a 5 cylinder diesel in a Euro 380SE at the junkyard --- wonder if it has a Euro pump on the engine???
