Well I am stuck with a 190D for the time being that needs a replacement transmission. The transmission in it does not work, and people were saying it was the B2 piston which we never checked once I was told by my mechanic that the transmission had water in it (I assume that means its gone based on what I have read). I was going to get an automatic transmission from a 190D 2.5T because I was assured by members on this forum that it would work but my mechanic looked at the diagrams of the two transmissions he got from Mercedes and he said there is no way. So now I'm stuck with this car with a $4000 repair bill (way more than it's value) because I was misled into believing it could be done for 1/2 the price. I would like to try to obtain a correct automatic transmission if possible without having to shell out loads of cash or maybe try to attempt a manual conversion on the car. If this can't be done I shall be back on here selling or parting out the car. The code on the transmission is 722.413
