WTB 77/78 style Knobs and Switchplates/Vacuum motor

I need a set of switchplates and knobs for both climate control(heat and vents) and the AC control and antenna switch,etc for my 1978 240D. I also need the crazy vacuum motor that operates the vent flap. The one that has a diaphragm on both sides.

I'm rebuilding the climate control box and will need these pieces. I have the old faceplates but they are in really bad shape and missing all the knobs.

Also need some blue front seats. preferably with the 77/78 style headrests with the pointy corners. And a blue dashboard. For the seats and dashboard would prefer somewhat close to NC. Thanks!

I think so. Here is a picture of what I have.

Vacuum valve looks like this and controls the cabin air flap...it's under the dashboard on the passenger side.. The one in my 78 the rubber has totally disintegrated.

I think I have the cover plate and knobs for the controls --- I will look; may take me a week to get to it; have to think about where they might be....

He has quite a few 240s of different years

Correct. I left a nice 1979 SD there and a completely stripped rust-free 1984 300D frame
He had a bunch and decent prices

I may go look and give him another try. I stopped by once looking for a turn signal, but he would only sell me the entire steering column for $150. Which I thought was kind of a rip. So I never went back. Course the guy I talked to on the phone was different than the guy who was there when i got there. After the steering column thing I kind of figured he was a bit sketchy or overpriced but maybe I just hit him on a bad day.

I have every switch and switch plate you could ever ask for. I have 11 boxes that has been adding up for years. 7 boxes of switches and 4 boxes of plates all vintage classics. In interested send me your best offer. They are in excellent condition!

Yeah let me know! I have a 81 240D near complete sitting in my yard. According to Hollander interchange these parts should work for your 77/78.

Have you got zebrano trim for manual climate control in good shape? My 200D has been converted to zebrano except for this piece.
