FS: 617 NA Engine components
 

Got a 617 NA engine that has bad main or rod bearings. Starting to disassemble engine, so intake/ exhaust manifolds, injectors & lines, oil pan, IP, timing cover, etc. that are for sale.

Strike the timing cover; was thinking of 602,603. Got a good head, complete with cam and rocker arms.

Ok, engine completely disassembled. 2 rod bearings transferred material to 2 crankshaft journals, so crank will have to be turned. Bearings were not spun. 5 good rods with 5 good pistons. Block is in great shape. There was NO ridge at top of cylinder walls; amazing. The faces of the valves were just black soot; no carbon build up at all.
Got a lot of good engine parts.

Bump. Got a lot of inquiries but a lot of good OM617 NA parts. Flywheel, IP,oil pump, crank will need turned, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, air cleaner, old original monster a/c compressor.
