WTB- 123 power steering box for 83 240D

coming up on 45 degrees of wheel play. Steering box has been adjusted about as far is it can go, and its worn out. Looking for a new one that will fit on my 83 240D 123 chassis. If you have one lying on the shelf you would like to sell, let me know.

Thanks!

Also looking for a blue interior MBtex driver seat.

I thought I heard once that the w126 gearbox will work on a w123. But I don't know for sure. I have a w126 gearbox out of a 83 300sd.
Let me know.

a new box will set you back $350-450, which you know, all things considered is not horrible. The feeling of a new tight steering setup is well worth it!

Its for a friends car, and its going to get sold sometime this fall, so they arent looking to put big money into any new components, but that price isnt really bad at all, I agree.
something to think about later on for myself.
