Is A "California" W123 300D Air Cleaner Worth Anything?

There's a 1984 or 1985 W123 300D in the wrecking yard with the California air cleaner and funky turbocharger. Would it be worth getting the air cleaner assembly complete with the mounting bracket, or would it be just another lead weight that never sells?

Somebody will eventually want it. Go figure. I know someone that had a pre '85 motor installed in a '85 wagon and wanted all the Cali crap put back on . No accounting for taste.
You may be kicking it around your garage for a while though.

In my opinion the part to get off this car is the unique manifold between the engine and the turbo. These can get cracked, particularly related to the weight of the trap oxidizer. I had to have mine manifold replaced (on my 85 CA wagon) and sourcing a manifold was not easy nor cheap. The air cleaner isn't going to fail (unless someone has a rusted one) and the turbo can be rebuilt, although I might get that also.

sell

I paid 90.00, just for the can. I still need the "T", that goes from the flex to the breather. The "T", connects the valve cover, intake and breather. Shown in the second photo.
