Wanted: Bamboo (Tan) Vinyl Dye Spray

I need only enough vinyl dye to change a light grey armrest to bamboo (maybe half a can). Right now I don't want to pay $21 plus shipping for a new can that I will only use a portion of. I want to see if maybe another forum member had a partially used can they'd be willing to sell cheap... unless shipping an aerosol can would cause problems.

you can ship an aerosol can it just has to be clearly marked "ORMD"; still gonna cost $6 or thereabouts just to ship.....did you try napa? may be a bit cheaper w/out the shipping and then you can have a whole can if it needs another coat.....just sayin'

New concept. What exactly does vinyl dye do? Does it penetrate and color the vinyl or it is basically a paint which covers the old color?

I haven't tried anywhere local because I doubt they will have Mercedes Bamboo dye instead of some generic shade of tan. Good information about shipping. I think this dye spray does penetrate the vinyl instead of just being a topcoat.

Looks nice. I wonder if I can use a vinyl or plastic dye to bring life back to the baked door panels and plastics in my car.

Epic floor mat! I think my cats would approve!

Another good source for leather and vinyl dyes is Color Plus in Milford, Pa, (570) 686-3158. Excellent products. I jut re-dyed the leather seats in my 300CD (Palomino). They turned out perfect.
