Probably 1970's or earlier. Not compatible with a W123 or W126. I have one of these emblems that I pulled off a 280 from the early 70's or late 60's.

Not 107 model either. Looks like the hood emblem from a W113.

Do you have a part number for yours?

It looks like a 108/109 to me. The 108 model part number is 108 880 00 86 ; Here's two on ebay:

Is this the same as yours?

I pulled some of those, think off W108 in the yards. they look much better that the newer ones like on the 123 and 126 which are painted and faid out.

I have one on the 240 and 300D and 300SD along with the Star/Radiator cap from a W114/5. Doesn't look all that bad and an improvement from my point of view.

A touch of Class.

Those are mine on ebay. The are 108/109. Usually the enamel is goofed up and pieces of the white are missing or otherwise damaged. It's unusual to find them as nice as mine, and probably as nice as the OP's. I'll sell anything that I have on ebay at at least 15% off if direct to forum members FWIW. Not trying to hijack thread, just saying...

Also I don't think it's the same as 113 bit it might be the same as 111.
