Don't care if it has BJs or not, plan on putting in new Lem's as soon as I get other items sorted on the 300.

Seems like a lot of trouble when a shop can press the joints in within a few hours. I just take them off, go to the shop, pick them up and put them back on, usually within the same day....

Depends where you live. For me, that's 45 minutes of road time for each trip to the shop, assuming I had a shop do it. Last set I had shop press out and I pressed in, which seems to work for me.

I get a spare set, toss them at the lems at ehefrau and she drops them off one day when she's in town, picks them up another, and I'm in no rush since I'll do the job with everything at hand.

Besides, with 33 year old spindles, doesn't hurt to have spares....
