WTB Drivers Door Striker '82 300TD

Like the title states, I need a door striker. I'm looking for the portion that mount to the body of the car. Needs to for the drivers door on an 82 300TD. Let me know what you have and how much. Will send a shipping label for shipping so all you have to do is slap the label on the box and drop it off.

Thanks

Curt

FWIW, I think you are talking about the part numbered 17 in the attached diagram. If so, that part is the same for all W123 sedans, coupes, and wagons. It fits the LEFT door, front or rear. The part number is A1237200104. For reasons unclear to me, the price of this piece is MSRP $145. If yours is worn, you might be better off getting a used one from the REAR left door of a sedan or wagon. Less use on rear doors...

Surprisingly, they are available through amazon as well. $22 shipped. I'd rather give my money to the community though. I think I may actually but a few. I could use one for the passenger side as well if I'm honest.

$22 shipped is a pretty decent deal since shipping will run about $8 or $9 plus even community pricing is $5 - 10. I owe you some pictures, but I did not realize they are so cheap and new.

No. The door latch part is specific to W123 cars.

Amazon $22 new????
I agree that it's better/nicer to spend money and share parts in the forum manner. The exception is that when a part that wears is available new and cheap.

Admittedly, I bought one from Amazon too. I will let you all know the quality of it. At $22, I think I can afford to buy on from amazon and a couple off the forum. Especially since it's a wear item.
