Sorry my pictures disappeared, I have re-uploaded and re-posted them. Also added pictures of the back seats, they are in marginal shape, happy to sell bit by bit. The rear seats had stuff sitting on them, they should smooth out now that they are in my heated warehouse.

I have a pair of front leather seats removed from a 1984 280TE. These are leather, not MB Tex. They have some fading and some wear. However they are original leather seats that are not all torn up, they had sheepskins on them for at least the last 16 years. They would be good candidates to put new pads in and re-dye.

The drivers seat had something sitting on it and you can see the impression in the drivers seat. I also have the rear leather 60/40 split rear seat, some of the pieces are in nice shape, one of the bottoms has a couple tears in it. I would be happy to sell the rear seats bit by bit since a couple pieces are not all that nice. Also have the headrests.

If the front seats don't sell.....I would be interested in the orthopedic inserts and hard ware and some of the seat padding if its foam....

I am interested in the leather covers and orthopedic parts without the cost of shipping the whole seats. I will pay your price if you can strip the covers and parts from the frames and just ship those. I would want the headrests too.

Pardon my own ignorance, what do you mean by orthopedic parts? On a 124 that meant air bladders and switches. These seats do not have that, or are you guys seeing something in the pictures I am not?

Hi Paul,
I believe the strap on the back of the drivers seat is for adjustment of an orthopedic insert. My car originally came with leather, but was swapped with tex at some point. I might also be interested in the back seat covers too. I could compensate you for your time in seat disassembly.

Learn something new every day. When I was parting the car out my dad asked what it was, I assumed it was for luggage. I'll have to text him, we had no idea. I will be at my warehouse today or tomorrow, I will photograph the rear seats for you then.

Pictures went down, fixed, and added pics of the second row. Second row is in marginal shape. I realize this stuff isn't concours, but its also leather, and somewhat hard to find. Make me an offer on the second row, I'm happy to deal.
