WTB: W201 16v Two random interior bits - Air blower knob and driver's headrest knob

Hey y'all,

I'm looking for the two random bits mentioned above. Again, the blower motor control doesn't have the small square knob with the white line indicating the speed of the blower motor. That small knob is missing. ALso, the small knob for controlling the height of the driver side's headrest is also broken off. I'm looking to replace that knob so I can control the height of the headrest.

Thanks,

Eamon

Regarding the headrest knob, is it broken as in the whole stalk is missing or just the knob itself came off and is lost? If its just the knob, the part is just a few bucks new at the dealership of you can find it in nearly any 1980-1990's Mercedes W124, W126 and W201 at a salvage yard as they are the same.

You are going to need another switch, I don't think that part is sold individually and I doubt people will part out a switch. The blower switch knob is available at the dealership I believe.

Educate me here when you say I need another switch do you mean the whole thing with the two seat controllers or a new switch operating the headrests only?

A whole new seat switch, or simply an used one, as the headrest switch is part of the entire switch and is not sold separately. I might have a switch in my parts car but I think it has that broken off as well.

I just bought the blower speed knob for my 190E and it was like $7 at the dealer. I have a clean used one I can mail you for a couple bucks but you may as well go new.

Mercedes New Seat Switch 190E 300E 201 034 16V 1248212751 E320 190D 300TE | eBay
NOS left side switch with starting bid of $30

Other option would to be to glue a dowel or something into the broken pin then to glue the headrest knob on that.

My seat switch has the memory buttons 1/2 and on it. Is that separate from the switch or part of it? If part of it, I don't think the eBay item you pointed out works for my application, no?
