hey all, i'm looking for a couple pieces.

first, i'm looking to get my hands on a w123 sedan speaker shelf carpet piece. i'm interested in using it as a template to install rear speakers in my car as it was optioned without them. with that in mind, i'm looking to spend the least amount of money i can on one. it can be completely trashed looking, faded, stained, and hideous as long as it's intact and can be laid over my shelf for tracing and cutting. i'm also in need of the sleeves/cups that make up the speaker holes.

second, i'm looking for one good white plastic nut that holds the w123 turn signals on. i have one that's stripped and not holding my turn signal in place.

Had some not so wanted car trouble, so I got busy for a few days....It looks like the extra dash I have, has had the holes enlarged to fit larger speakers....here's a pic of the extra dash large openings and the factory one in the other dash..

that's actually awesome for me, i'd love to put in some slightly larger speakers! i'm guessing that's a 6.5 inch or 6.75 inch hole now, yes? but aren't there metal "cups" under the shelf that would restrict the size of the speakers?

again, i know it's a pain in the ass, but if you'd consider packing that up and shipping it, i'm definitely interested!

since i'm just taking a blade to mine, perhaps just sending the carpet piece without the cardboard shelf would suffice? still not quite sure what i'm getting into but that seems reasonable for this job, right? anyway, if that's the case, shipping a folded up piece of shelf carpet would be a whole lot easier on your end, much less of a headache perhaps?

I will have to measure the holes, but you can put pretty large speakers in the rear shelf. I believe I have 6.5 in my euro....someone cut up the shelf to add them....

I was thinking that same thing, that folding up just the carpet would be much easier, this one had seen some water so the chip board is falling apart...I grabbed it inase I need parts for the one above it....which was mint until some bone head at the JY decided to bust it up to get the speakers out...
