Here's the set of carpets from my old '84 300D. I scrubbed 'em out with soap yesterday, and they look nice, but not perfect. They're good mats for daily drivers in that they look pretty good but not so good that you're afraid of getting them dirty. I have pictures below, but please note that most pictures make the mats look lighter than they really are and that the mats are all about the same shade (some of them show up lighter than others in the photos). This means that the stains actually show up better in the pictures than they do in person; of course, this doesn't mean that they become invisible in person, just that they're not as offensive. Also, the staining will be less apparent when they are in a car than when they are in direct sunlight.
