The pre-81 300d cars (vertical pushbutton climate control) and all years of w123 wagon use a different blower motor regulator than the sedans. That is, not the "toaster" style that bolts to the inner fender. It is similar but not the same as the one used on the 240d manual system.

It is similar to the one in the attached pic (should be six-pin connector).

I need one.

It is apparently located near the wiper motor, under the cowl panel.

Would prefer if you are willing to ship to Canada (should fit into a large padded envelope).
