WTB: Burlwood Strip for Glove Box

hey all, looking to buy the burlwood strip that goes along a w123 glove box.

any condition besides broken and/or cracked. i plan on refinishing it along with my other pieces.

still attached to the glove box is okay too. my dumb ass found out how difficult it is to remove it from the box and i broke the one i had.

i can pay via paypal asap or another method if you prefer. email would be best but PM will work too. denimwolf@gmail.com

thanks!

Technically that's Zebrano wood. W123's never came with Burlwood.

Gah! I guess, no US-Spec ones did. Gray market/euro doesn't count.

Who said anything about my 280CE being euro? Its a US-spec car.

I think you've only ever looked at diesel 123s. It was optional on gassers, I've seen 280Es with it and 280CEs.

yes, i'm looking for burlwood, not in any way technically zebrano.

it was an option for w123s. not just euro spec ones. my '78 280CE US/Cali spec was full burlwood as well. proof here:

1978 Mercedes Benz 280CE W123 Slideshow by squabble | Photobucket. pictures 10 and 11 show the burl wood that was an option for US spec w123s.

again, i am looking for the w123 glove box wood trim in burl. thank you.

I'll keep an eye out for you, all I have right now in parts are diesels, but I have a friend who may have one.

I have a '79 300CD right now with full burl wood interior. So diesels got it too, if the option was selected, apparently. Just to clarify that.

Unfortunately I can't let the trim go, sorry Squabble!
