Got this pictured '82 240D motor (next to a customer's '63 Vette coupe...) that I either need to move into the storage part of the shop or into your pickup (it's still under the overhead lift...). Unknown miles, ran, started quick, but hadda' God-awful noise....I didn't even want to stand near it when it was running (guess broken piston....good oil pressure.....MAJOR blowby....but just a guess. Orange silicone on pan rail tells me someone's been tamperin' with it.). and 100% complete except for the flywheel and the cruise servo and throttle linkage from the top of the valve cover. Good inj pump, good glow plugs, good water pump, good vac pump, good (rebuilt....sticker's still there)55A alternator and R4 A/C compressor. It's even still got belts, pulleys, air cleaner, etc. on it.

As is, where-is, how is. $150. Use one piece and you made money. FOB Crystal (center of Lower) MI.....but I need it picked up within a FEW days.

Did you ever sell this engine? I have a 1982 with rods sticking out of the block. Could use something rebuildable.
