WTB W123 Seat Heaters

I am looking for a serviceable W123 seat heater set up. I am looking for every piece, including the wiring harness and switches, and pads for both seats.
Thanks!

Shane

You should have made this request in the summer; don't you know that these parts will get the seasonal markup!

What can I say... I am a sucker for warm seats. I would settle for for a dashboard installed in my car at this point.

This is looking for a needle in a hey stack, plus if you found them there is a very good chance the elements will be burnt out. Why not just do with an after market setup?

I love needles and haystacks. I will check epc later today to see if the W126 stuff is the same.
Thanks!

I have front seats and all switches from a 500SEL, pulled at the junkyard yesterday and only want the leather and cushions for my W123. Unfortunately I had to cut the big wire harnesses...

Curious about this, do you still have them? I am wondering if I can Frankenstein something...though I need another project like a hole in the head

I have experience with this. They are similar but not the same. There are at least four different 126 set ups for the heated seat wiring harness. First there are some that have separate harness for each seat. Others are one harness for both seats. Earliest version has no control unit, black box. Next is the one with the control box. Both of these connect directly to the fuse box for power, they ground to the steering column support and a third wire for lighting the switches, connecting to a central lighting connector behind the carpet on the console near the drivers right knee(same as 123). Then the latest type uses the control box also but has a plug which connects near the left driver foot well, then to the fuse box, ground and lights. They can all work for a 123. The have a much longer wiring harness. The last one will need to be adapted for connection to power, lights and ground.

I have one of the third style harness with the plug, see pic. It is uncut and includes working switches and the clips to secure the plugs for the seat heaters. The control units/box are shown but Do Not Work. It is an easy hook up, just 3 wires, Switched hot (black/yellow), ground(2 ea. brown) and switch lighting (grey/blue). You can have it for $30 delivered.

PM if interested:

The correct fuse to connect to is number 4. It says on the card in the lid of the fuse box to increase the fuse size to 16amp, red fuse for front heated seats. You need to get to the back of the fuse box to attach the hot wire to the number 4 post. The FSM tells how to remove it to get to the connections. Fighting to get to it from under the dash can be done but way too difficult for these old bones.
