I crashed my 1993 300D this week. I need headlights, grille, top rad. support, fan shroud etc... you get the picture. I found a complete 1986 gas 450 SEL. I know the diff. between a 124 and a 126 body style, but will the headlights and grille work if I changed the top rad. support? I know the hoods are diff., but would the grille mount in my hood? I am a newbie to this site and don't know where to ask these Questions.

you might be able to bolt it all up but it won't fit correctly or look good. if you post your location maybe someone close will have the parts you actually need. i have a 93 w124 i'm parting here in Pa

Is the above posters are not local. Look on car-part.com this is a nation wide inventory search of participation salvage yards.

I am in East TN. If someone had all the parts I need at a decent price, I will travel a couple hundred miles to get them.

I've got a complete either 92 or 93 300D 2.5 turbo sitting in the yard that can probably be had for $1000 if you are interested. Was running when it was parked a while back. It has no rust.
