3 14x6 rare aluminum steelies with tires *price drop*

Hi guys , I discovered a few months back while rotating my tires that my 300d that I drive daily had three of the rare 14x6 aluminum steelies on it. Rather than risk banging them up I am looking to sell them. 2 have 1 year old Goodyear tires and the third is my spare and looks like it has an old pirelli on it. Not sure if its an original tire or not but tire looks very old but barely used. I'm asking 1000 obo for the three. I can email pictures upon request. The part numbers are 123 400 1502.

Yes, been told by a few that they are pretty desirable. Do a google search on the part numbers.

These are obo guys, don't be afraid to make me an offer.

Wow figured I would have a lot more interest than this. Is my price out of line? I was told before by forum members to ask between 3 and 500 per wheel. Figured 400 a pieces with tires was a decent price.

I don't like to hurt people's chances for a sale, but because you asked if your price is out of line...
Here are 5 of the same rim on ebay for $1100. With lugnuts and hubcaps.

No problems, I did see that set listed. I think they were put up same day I listed these. I just based my prices on what guys on here had said in the past and I always see that one eBay seller listing them for 500 a wheel. Figured tires added a little as well. Price dropped, like I said guys willing to listen to offers. If they dont sell I'll just keep riding them but figured I could make a little cash for some other repairs!

Wish I could come across a deal like that! I can't complain too much though. Took me two years to figure out that my daily driver 85' I paid 900 bucks for had these 3 on it. Lol

Also I will be dismounting the tires this week since everyone has who has been interested has asked if I would sell without tires.

I removed the this listing, and many more from ebay.
I am tired of paying ebay and PP a big %.

$1100 for a set of five is crazy-low price for those wheels. They are only getting harder and harder to find.

Yeah, you are lucky. But the "I got it for $25 at the junkyard" isn't the same thing. Lots of people don't have time or access to junkyards and lots of other people do. I've bought entire cars to get sets of these wheels and then sold the cars. And I've got a bunch of them now and eventually they will be sold off but not for the price that the guy on ebay sold his for. It is WAY too much work to do that unless you are a) doing it for your own car or b) doing it for resale. Lots of car enthusiasts have more money than time, and their option is to buy on-line or through a forum or from someone like me who MAKES A LIVING going to junkyards and looking for the diamonds in the dirt to save them and make a profit from them.

Just saw this had been picked back up. Screwdriva I will send you a pm , they are still available.

Also to everyone following this post, i am getting ready to put up a new post about my 84 euro. I have an 84 euro that was wrecked and was trying to sell but didnt have much interest. It has the correct "M" pump and is a 4 spd manual with the 38lb flywheel. I have no time for it and I need it off my property. If there is anything anyone wants they need to let me know IMMEDIATELY because if not its going to the crusher next friday. I had planned on pulling drivetrain but i just have no time to do it. Hate to throw it all away but neighbors complained to the county about it so it needs to go. Thanks!

3 for 1000 is a little high for forums, 5 for 1100 is low for ebay. I have mine tested for trueness before selling and I'm the one with the $500 price on ebay, but I haven't sold any via ebay for years. It's just for advertising. My cash-and-carry price is $300 - $350 depending on how good/bad my inventory is. It had been bad for a long time then I bought 2 cars and got a set of wheels at the junkyard so now my inventory is good again.
