My STD engine. 250-300hp 603, $3.5k

Engine is still in car. Moving into 606 realm and need to fund my sickness.

#14 head runs 80C year round, I have seen it up to 90C at 3rd gear WOT ~18psi doing some hill climbing in the appalachians. I've been running this car as my DD now for 2 years, it is solid as a rock (no chevy jokes). One of the cylinders is a bit low on compression, it runs a little rough in winter until it warms up before I get to the end of the driveway. We saw single digits this winter and last and it always starts on first glow.

IP is a Diesel Mekken 125cc pump with normal ALDA adjustment, the ALDA not only controls smoke but max HP. Euro manifold with HX30W. Will consider some offers but the pump is worth $1500 alone. Intake manifold is modified to take 3" intercooler piping from the drivers side.

This was made for a manual trans, I have no idea what it would take to get it working with an automatic again.

that is a very good deal in my opinion! Have you been driving it as your daily driver for 3 years in that configuration, with that IP and turbo? That would definitely speak well for dependability.

Off topic but related, I have at my disposal an entire 86 300E with a 5 speed manual transmission is that the transmission you used with this engine? Any issues with the clutch under greater power?

Sorry, my bad 2 years based on this post My 1987 300D, will update (but ya either way, reliable) I will update the post.

It is the same trans and clutch problems to no end. Currently running 6 puck sinter on 9" plate. After this I would have to move to sachs 735 or 765 on a bmw fw. Or 3 pack nascar clutch.
